@jay_aitsch - die Inspiration muss ich doch gleich aufgreifen - wie schön, dass im Kühlschrank noch die Mitbringsel aus dem Schottlandurlaub stehen 😎 Zu dem schönen Abend passt das Brewdog Lost, als „Planet First Lager“ beschrieben. Je nachdem wo man sucht wird es als Lager oder Pils eingestuft. Wenig überraschend schmeckt es denn auch wie ein relativ herbes Pils, angenehm frisch und mit einem ganz leichten Zitrusgeschmack. #okuna #beerbubble #fedibier #beersofmastodon

Letzter Abend in #schottland 😒, morgen geht es via Fähre Newcastle-Amsterdam zurück auf den Kontinent. Als Abschied gibt es heute Abend nochmal ein schottisches IPA: Hopo 6.2 IPA von der Broughton Brauerei aus Biggar im Süden von Schottland. Ein ziemlich dunkles klares IPA mit ordentlich Hopfen und einer ziemlich malzigen Note. Nicht ganz meins, aber dennoch ein guter Abschied aus Schottland! Hervorzuheben ist übrigens noch das schöne Etikett :-)

Nach einem Tag Pause gibt es heute ein Juice Tygrr (hieß früher wohl mal Juice Tiger bis wahrscheinlich die Marketingabteilung meinte, dass das zu gewöhnlich klingt) der Williams Bros. Brewing Co. aus Alloa auf halbem Weg zwischen Glasgow und Edinburgh. Das double dry hopped IPA hat 7% Alkohol. Eine interessante Kombination aus sehr hopfigem #IPA und Frucht. Die 7% sind aus meiner Sicht arg viel, schmecken aber nicht so doll durch.

Mhh - lecker! Brewdog kann auch Stout machen! Black Heart Stout mit 4,1% aus der Dose mit Stickstoffpatrone. Leider hatte ich kein ausreichend großes Glas so dass das Einschenkerlebnis nicht komplett war. Auch so aber eine schöne Schaumkrone und das typische Hochperlen bis man ein Glas tiefschwarzes Stout hat. Von Geschmack her super, steht meinem sonstigen Lieblingsstout Murphy‘s nicht nach. Dunkle Schokolade und Kaffee - ein schöner Nachtisch ;-)

Nach einem grandiosen Tag im #Kajak mit einer Fastumrundung der Insel #Kerrera vor #Oban gibt es heute Abend ein New England IPA der Loch Lomond Brewery namens Zoom Time mit 4,5% Sehr schön trüb mit leckerem Zitrus/Grapefruitgeschmack. Leider keine nennenswerte Schaumkrone, dass tut dem Geschmack aber keinen Abbruch.

Ok, heute dann ein Fierce IPA aus Aberdeen mit 5,2%. Deutlich Hopfen drin aber sonst wenig Substanz. Kann man auf jeden Fall mal trinken :-) #okuna #beersofmastodon #beerbubble

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass der #Urlaub in #Schottland so viele #Biersorten aufzeigt die man probieren könnte. Heute 21 Pale von der Black Isle Brewing Co. mit 4,1% Geschmacklich etwas dünn aber mit einer angenehmen Zitrusnote, insgesamt wenig hopfig. Mal gucken was morgen drankommt ;-)

@Speckdaene Ach, du warst auch bei #Okuna ? Ursprünglich von der deutsch-dänischen Grenze 🤔. Irgendwie kommt's mir bekannt vor. Ich glaube, unsere Wege haben sich dort schon mal gekreuzt.

@Speckdaene I was on #Okuna too. I found here on Mastodon a new home. I have had the idea a few days ago to host an instance with okuna in the name.

After #GPlus shut down, there was an attempt to create a new and friendly social network. It was called #OpenBook, but Facebook's lawyers forced them to change the name and it became #Okuna. It had to be stopped of financial reasons. Now I find a few of my former bubble here and please boost so I might find more of them again!

As promised yesterday for my #okuna #beer bubble - today I had the locally brewed lager from our hotel. Rich taste, probably an alcohol content around 6 or 7% and a nice hoppy taste. If you ever come here (https://www.villabro.se) ask if they have the lager from Klaus’ father on tap ;-)

Hey #Okuna #beer #bubble - greetings from Sweden with a Lager from some local micro brewery (the oldest in Sweden they say). Nothing spectacular but very drinkable. Tomorrow it will be a lager brewed locally at our hotel - I am curious!
