triumph! I created a bootable USB on a Chromebook, flashed the iso and have a live version of anti-x . Then used it to load a new OS on a ZaReason NUC box.

More projects:

-converting the old Chromebook (eol) to just Linux
- reviving the 2010 ZaReason laptop with a new version of Linux (alas, the wifi no longer works, have to use Ethernet)
- loading Linux on an old iMac (w/no os)

Angband
Full of surprises! I get to this spot & see the ambush coming. I think I've already killed over fifty of them & they're still coming in waves. Fortunately, I'm in a good position. If I'd walked into that room, it would have been certain death! I've gone up 4 levels since the fighting started.

Is something generating them?

Got a new remote control for my old TV so I can switch inputs again. It's amazing how much better the C64 looks over S-Video vs. the RF modulator or even composite video inputs.

A very interesting article about Beneath Apple Manor (1978) who predates Rogue by 2 years & was the 1st commercial Rogue Like. BAM already had advanced gameplay.

Got Tecra M5 couple of days ago (~5€ on a local auction 😅 ), with preinstalled

Increased RAM to 3GB and cleaned a bit from the dust. Sadly don't have any better CPU to upgrade (from 32bit T2400) atm 😕

Centrino, Quadro and 4:3 aspect ratio display... All works perfectly and no issues with old games.

What a burst of nostalgia 🤓
