I took this photo in the #Adirondacks near #OldForge NY at the top of Rocky Mountain looking out over the #FultonChain of Lakes. I've been going through some of my older photos and so many like these bring back memories. (Though it was very chilly up there!)

Gonna flash back a little bit to our late summer vacation in the #Adirondacks, where paddling the section of the Moose River near Old Forge is always magical, but especially under these September skies. We've been going to this area for 40 years.

New York State's Adirondack Park is bigger than Yosemite, Yellowstone, Glacier and Grand Canyon combined – six million acres in a mix of public and private lands.
