Turned on mandatory WPA3 authentication on home WiFi network. Samsung phone was last obstacle. IoT VLAN WiFi is still WPA2/3 hybrid through.

That old Samsung lasted seven years and I recently replaced my main desktop PC after nine years of service.

Security is important but so is also to use gadgets until they really reach end of life. I think phones should receive updates at least ten years. Also, I'm not going to change some WiFi LEDs any time soon. They may work fine to 2030s.
