* Is there a way to make Windows Terminal do cutting and pasting using Ctrl-Shift-C and Ctrl-Shift-V, instead of its incredibly archaic “right-click to copy a selection, or right-click to paste if there’s no selection”? Again, practically every other terminal program out there has better #UX.

There's a lot of golf in newspaper comics. And most of these characters don't age. I'm starting to reach the age of some of them, and I feel like they need to update their hobbies a bit.

How do they expect me to relate to Hi Flagston with his office job that allows him to live comfortably and play golf? I got kids his age and I certainly don't golf. He needs to get out and geocache or hike or perform in community theater.

The popularity of Cinnamon desktop continues to befuddle me.

I just don't understand why anyone would actively choose to use it instead of KDE, XFCE/LXDE, or regular Gnome 3. For whatever your reason, it just seems one of those three is going to do you better. KDE has better built-in apps. XFCE is lighter and runs faster. Gnome has... well, it's Gnome. And that's not even getting into tiling window managers like Awesome.

I cancelled a bunch of subscriptions a few months ago, and it's been interesting from a marketing standpoint to compare each one's post-unsubscribe email drip. By far, by a mile, the worst emails are from Netflix. Fine, yes, eventually I'm going to sign back up for a month so I can see Beef, but if anything, the daily emails are helping me put it off. #FirstWorldProblems #OldManYellsAtCloud

The Washington Post has been doing a Peeps diorama contest for years. It's great fun to see all of the creativity in the entries. Apparently they moved it to TikTok a couple of years ago, and for this year, they appear to have utterly failed at embeds of the entries and not even bothered with screenshots.
