We’ve been dealing with dumpster fires since 1884, I guess.

Next, she’s keeping Holiday cards alongside her Mardi Gras invitations. Here we have 2 1882 Easter cards next to an 1884 Twelfth Night Revelers invitation. What’s in common here? Well… they’re chromolithographs. The invitation may have been hand delivered and not mailed… I don’t know about Easter card delivery at this time though. #MardiGrasScrapbookProject #Archives #OldMardiGras #Chromolithography

So I’m working on this Mardi Gras scrapbook and I’m so curious about the person who put this together. The dates of the invitations range from 1871-1907 and several krewes are represented. Was she super well connected? Was she invited to all of these balls!? I have no info about the creator of this object but I’m collecting clues.
