All that's now left of the once impressive and commanding edifice that was, until very recently, the Sir John Maxwell School in the Pollokshaws area of Glasgow.
This was a beautiful old building which should never have been allowed to fall so far into disrepair that it had to be demolished.

The former Washington Street Public School building in Glasgow, built in the late 1880s, overshadowed by the elevated Anderston on-ramp to the Kingston Bridge, built in 1970.
