The former Woodside Public School in the west end of Glasgow. Designed by Robert Dalglish and built in 1882, it's unusual amongst schools built prior to 1900 by the Glasgow School Board in being in a Jacobean style rather than the more typical Classical or Italianate styles.

Pollokshields Public School in Glasgow. This school was designed by H and D Barclay in a Palazzo style and was built in 1879. It is now part of Pollokshields primary school.

The former Adelphi Terrace Public School in Glasgow.
Build in 1894 in a Renaissance style, it was one of a series of public schools in Glasgow designed by Thomas Lennox Watson. Another of these was Garnetbank Primary School which I posted a photo of yesterday.

The former Strathclyde Public School on Carstairs Street in the Dalmarnock area of Glasgow. Built in 1903, it was designed by J MacKissack in a Edwardian Baroque style.

The former Our Lady and St Margaret Primary School on Stanley Street in the Kinning Park area of Glasgow. Built on a palazzo-scale, it was designed by Bruce and Hay in 1910. Interestingly, the playground for this school was on its roof!
