If the Deputy PM want to discuss how parties are funded... I'll be waiting for his declarations on how particular #Tory party polices are linked to the donations that receive!

Given that the #Tories have seldom been backwards at leaking reports in advance or making early (but faulty) accusations, one cannot help but think the reason that #OliverDowden is refusing to say whether he thinks that #SueGray broke #civilservice guidelines in taking a job with #KierStarmer is because they've actually found no evidence at all & are preparing to back-track on earlier accusations...

Of course, there may be other explanations, but reticence is not a standard #Tory trait.
