Ex Premier Ehud #Olmert: "L’attuale governo in Israele non è pronto per avviare un dialogo con i palestinesi. I nazionalisti nel parlamento stanno fomentando la gente e questo porterà dolore e sangue. Questo governo non sta facendo nulla per il conflitto israelo-palestinese. Se approvano insediamenti, significa che non vogliono la pace. Considerata l’attuale situazione in Medio Oriente, c’è il pericolo di una nuova Intifada, che causerà dolore e sangue."

Some background regarding the name: originally many things in #Israel were organized by parties. This involves many things (for instance: healthcare providers) and also sport clubs. There are relatively few Beitar teams. They were originally connected with what is now the ruling #Likkud party.

In fact, the former Prime Minister #Olmert and current president #Rivlin were both, at the time, were managers of the team.
