There is a sizable homeless encampent in downtown Olympia, WA concentrated around the corner of Washington St NE and B Ave NE. Rats are openly living amoung the campers. The question: what sanitary facilities are available for these campers is answered by rolling your window down.
This is a public heath issue; we, as a society, are obliged to step in and take action.

We appear to have a semi domesticated fox living in downtown Olympia, WA! These pics were taken in the back parking lot of the Olympia Farmers market at about 2:30 am today. My dog was going berserk with her barking (from inside of the car) and yet the fox came over and sat pretty for us!
