De laatste afbeelding van mijn omslagfoto is er eentje uit het Ommeland. Het is de wierde van Niehove dat al zo'n 2200 jaar onafgebroken bewoond is. Hoewel het dorp slechts 130 inwoners telt heeft het maar liefst 13 rijksmonumenten.
