Received my #omnifixo today, and very pleased with jt. I expected the magnet-friction-joints to be more floppy, but there's a satisfying amount of stiction in there. The standalone base is also a nice touch.

On another note, refreshingly simple packaging. Envelope, simple cardboard tray, and a single small plastic baggy.

My Omnifixo preorder arrived yesterday. Naturally, a week after my most recent soldering project. Even trying it out messing around it seems very promising. Easy to position things and they really do stay exactly where placed. I love the parallel jaw clamps, too. Much better grip without the need for toothy jaws on clips.

Now I need to find a new victim^Wproject. Maybe I'll finally get around to hacking on the WS2812B LED strip I have sitting here.
