As I continue to get my gut back up to speed after the most recent nastiness, I am reviewing my daily food habits for ones I'm willing/able to ditch or modify.

Like legumes - too important to my diet for so many reasons, but amenable to fixes to make them less stressful; and coffee, which is a gut irritant but I'll fight to keep it (plus it does help my messed up liver). 1/?

Started using #raindrop and #omnivore for bookmark management and article saving. I think it will be nice and help me feel more organized.

かつては「これなくして生活が成り立たない！」と感じるほどのサービスだったけど。ここ数年は全く使わない機能の追加や使いにくい UI 変更などの繰り返しで、使っててもずっとイライラ。

決め手となったのは一度でもアプリを非表示にすると全く使わないホームに戻ると言う不具合（不具合自体は直ってたけど）。

移行先の #Omnivore にも不満点は少しあるけど。少なくとも #Pocket のようにイライラさせられることはなく。精神衛生上こっちの方が良いなと。 :tony_smiling:

Acabo de descubrir #Omnivore una aplicación gratuita, de código abierto y que sirve para guardar artículos, boletines, documentos para leerlos más tarde sin distracciones. También añade subrayados y notas. Por cierto, es #gratis, aunque en el futuro puede tener funciones premium, pero el básico seguirá.

@bradbarrish I recently started using #Omnivore -- I don't think I have tried to save anything directly from Mastodon there yet. I do like the idea of a universal inbox for anything "bookmark"-like and that is what I am moving toward, I think.

#Omnivore 、強いて不満点を挙げると iOS アプリが昔の Pocket
みたいに画面下にタブがなく。上のプルダウンメニューから選択して切り替えるのがちと面倒う（画像1枚目）。

あと他のアプリから共有ボタン押すとこんな感じ（画像2枚目）で画面下にそれなり大きなメニュー表示される。ここでタグ付けやらハイライト保存やらできるのはそれなり考えられてはいるんだけど。

個人的にはこう言うの一切なくただただ保存だけ実行してメニューも表示されず「保存されました」とだけ表示されすぐ消えてくれると嬉しいんだけど。😅.｡oO（ 消すのも面倒だし。）

こんな感じで細かな不満点はあるにはあるけど。とりあえず Pocket から移行できそう。

Pocket に対してここ数年不満がたまりにたまっていたので、不具合を契機に「#Omnivore」への移行を試す。

現時点で分かったことをざっと書くと、

・アプリは iOS・iPadOS・Mac版あり。WEB版もあり。
・日本語化はされてない（しかし日本語自体は問題なく使える）。
・機能はシンプルでひと通りそろってる。
・Pocket から移行機能あり（WEB版で「Integrations」選択、多少時間かかるらしい、2万記事上限）。
・音声読み上げは日本語対応。

#Omnivore also has a #Logseq plugin.

Two days ago i learned about @omnivore, a read later app like #Pocket or #Instapaper. Yesterday I already moved all my saved articles and URLs there (from #Readwise Reader), basically for two reasons that make #Omnivore outstanding: 1.) it's free and open source, 2.) you can sync **entire texts** incl. highlights with #Obsidian (or #LogSeq). @mnl Readwise Reader keeps the full text, but only in their online database.

If you want to download the full text to your local system on sync, I think #omnivore offers that capability.

Omnivore (@omnivore) keeps getting better, and I have high hopes for the future since Omnivore will become self-hostable (which is the best we got since there are no end-to-end encrypted read-it-later services).

There are still some deal-breakers, but it’s definitely worth testing!
