I recently started to use the #omnivoreapp in conjunction with #logseq. Both are great on their own. But I'm particularly excited to use them together for a more efficient and enjoyable reading and note taking workflow. Now only if I could find some more time for reading :blobcatthink: @omnivore #opensource

Last week's video on #omnivoreapp is still getting views. Hope that wasn't my career peak 😅

@kbrede
I'm not keen on subscription models so perhaps others who use Readwise will chime in.
So far I've been using web clippers such as #MarkDownload to directly get stuff, time-prepended, for further processing into my Obsidian Vault's "z_capture" folder. I'm hoping to do a lot of that in #Omnivoreapp with e.g. ...

I use only #FreeSoftware and standard formats for local files. So #Logseq and #Syncthing to sync files across devices.
#KDE #Plasma is a huge productivity booster, especially thanks to its "Activities", Dolphin, Kate, KMail, Okular and Bismuth to tile windows.
#Omnivoreapp to save articles and import them into Logseq. #Calibre to manage epubs and pdfs and #Zotero for papers.
BTW I'm looking for a better name/metaphor than "second brain". Maybe hyper-notes (~hyper-text)?
#freesoftware #logseq #syncthing #kde #plasma #omnivoreapp #calibre #zotero
Really like #omnivoreapp and it goes together with #logseq beautifully.
