**On the Beach (1959)** is kinda tame pre-apocalypse film. I like that it sticks with the end already in progress and that people have to deal with it, but I find that it needs more emotion and moments to actually make use of it. Perhaps slow and uninteresting is the best way to describe this and we got so few films about this. 😢
