Visited mum today after a several week hiatus which was needed for my own MH & well-being. To say the grief is hitting hard is an understatement. But… she was on good form & although didn’t remember my name, she knew I was her daughter. Lots of cuddles, hugs & giggles (not to mention a hair wash and style.) By the time I left she looked like mum and not the dementia-riddled-shell she has become. #Dementia #Alzheimers #OneInThree #WeNeedToTalkAboutThisMore
