#OnePageRules 3.0 just dropped, and I think it's a good moment to try it if you haven't yet.

Point-wise, you can take an existing 40k Combat Patrol and with upgrades take it to a 1000 points OPR Grimdark Future (GF) army.

Essentially, a 2k point OPR GF army is the same size as a 1k 40k if you max out options.

Game is balanced around 2k points, but can work it out with less.

I now know the insidious call of #Chaos. It gets you by making you wonder "what deamons can I soup into this list?"
So I've spent the past few hours planning out a small #ChaosDeamons force to tag-along with the Knights. I've heard #Tzeentch flamers are good. Pink Horrors seem to be a fantastic tar pit. Are #Khorne deamons in a good place?
... and the #OnePageRules #3dPrinting files are on sale... I'm doomed.

What a packed weekend!

Still can't figure out an easy torpedo mechanism...may need more tokens to represent those. #onepagerules Warfleets FTL. The carriers need rules as well.

Tried out some One Page Rules Warfleets FTL with a few variations to make games simpler for me. Basically, I reduced movement for all except fighters/bombers but kept ratios about the same e.g. Battleships can only move 25% the distance a fighter can.

Wanted a BFG feel/effect, so I made frontal attacks weaker than broadsides, and I am contemplating a simple torpedo mechanism.

New project in the works, been contemplating this for a while. Wanted a space based game but most are cost prohibitive for me right now

So going to use either One Page Rules or A Billion Suns (or both I guess). Making my own ships with bits and bobs and going to aim for an auspex/projection style with little detail, geometric shapes in black with bright outlines (think Tron).
