@ukscone Hahaha. I've obvs my ThinkPad and my #PineBookPro a random Toshiba laptop for testing stuff on. I've also 2 pi 4's as servers and a full blown server too. Oh lets not forget my #Pinephone and #PinephonePro and my #OnePlus6 and 6T 😂
I even bought a Pico just so I could build my own TKL board with oled running on kmk. I just can't help myself.

So, I have three options here:

1. Fix my Pinephone pro (including main board) for roughly $300

2. Get a new Pinephone Pro for roughly $400

3. Get a used OnePlus 6 for roughly $190 on eBay (could be risky)

Tipp: Surfe doch mal zu https://upcyclingandroid.org. *Mir* hat das einmal mehr die Augen geöffnet und war der Antoß zum Umdenken. Bereut habe ich das nie. Im Gegenteil.

Are there any ready-to-use images with GNOME Shell (ideally) or Posh for #oneplus6?

I have two #oneplus6 with #postmarketos edge. One is my daily driver running phosh. I use it for all I would use a other smartphone (no banking etc. necessary) except for camera (still not supported on this device). The second phone is running #sxmo and/or #gnome-mobile for testing purposes. I would love to start contributing more to the community but am quite limited in time and resources right now.

Can anyone using #lineageos on #oneplus6 tell me if it's nice? Especially camera. Im worried that I will be disappointed with either quality of photos/videos, lack of basic features or crashes

Folks, i think i convinced my coworker to buy a #oneplus6 device and install #postmarketos on it with #phosh. I'll update my progress on the potential convert.

I think the only piece of software I'm really missing is a #Subsonic or #Navidrome client on pmOS. The web UI for navidrome works, but I'd much prefer something nicer. Unfortunately I have too much music for this tiny #OnePlus6 😭

Starting to get to the point where my #oneplus6 running #postmarketOS is very usable. While I always have both my android and pmos phones on me, I find that I can accomplish 99% of tasks on my pmos device. The only thing I really need android for at the moment is the camera, and even then I rarely use it.

Linux on mobile is looking really good right now.

Looking at #OnePlus6 phones again to see if I can actually pick one up with the original factory installed screen so I can at long last daily drive #Linux as I haven't worked out how to get my latest one with a third party screen to work with touch. 😂

Even though my #OnePlus6 isn't fully operational yet, I absolutely love it ! I can't wait for the day that the display and touch work out of the box for after market screen replacements. This will be my daily driver. Looks like I'm going to have to learn to hack the kernel with a little help to make this possible. #LinuxMobile

I have news regarding my #OnePlus6 journey after discovering that mine had an incompatible third party display. The amazing @calebccff has kindly been helping me tweak the kernel and I now have a working display but no touch input but that is serious progress ! At some point hopefully it wont matter if your OnePlus 6 has an aftermarket display. 😍 #LinuxMobile #Developer

So how has my #OnePlus6 journey to install #PMOS and daily drive it you ask ?
Well just my F-in luck to purchase one with a third party replacement display that works perfectly in #Android but not in #Linux yet so it's game over for me for now. 😢
