I had the same and nothing but MSM saved it. I tried like 25 other methods (really). Even windows vm on Linux did not work properly. Fortunately i managed to get a spare laptop with windows.

You could also go to a local phone repair shop maybe, but that is not a long term solution should it break again.

Still testing my #OnePlus6T with #PostmarketOS and #SXMO and so far it's been OK. I have had some missed call issues but I'm wondering if that's because I had auto suspend enabled and the OP6T doesn't like it ? Anyway I've disabled it and will leave it sitting for a few hours before trying to call it again and see what happens. When auto suspend was enabled it would ring if I'd just been using it so we'll see.

Just noticed that my #PinePhonePro and my #OnePlus6T both on #PostmarketOS Edge show different kernel versions.
The PPP is on 6.2.7 and the OP6T is on 6.2.0 🙃

Welll the Uk Emergency Alert supposedly happening today at 15:00 didn't happen for my wife who is on #ThreeUK and I kind of knew that with me being on a #LinuxMobile device aka #OnePlus6T with #PostmarketOS was going to be left to burn 😂

So i've installed my GiffGaff sim card in my #OnePlus6T running @postmarketOS and #SXMO . I have already found issues but I wasn't expecting a smooth ride.
1: Once I had entered the correct APN details the data connection never activated until I had made a call. So on reboot I have to make a call to enable data. Callls work though

2. I always on boot get a notification about a stuck SMS which i delete with sxmo_modem.sh checkforstucksms delete.

3: I receive the same SMS twice for some reason

Think I'm actually going to remove my sim card from my #Fairphone4 this evening and put it inside my #OnePlus6T running #PostmarketOS and #SXMO . It's been running fine on WiFi so now I guess it's time to really daily drive it. Plus as a bonus living in the UK I'll find out if the government test of emergency alerts scheduled for 15:00 tomorrow extends to us #MobileLinux users ? 🤣

I do have to say that between both my #OnePlus6T and my #PineBookPro both running #PostmarketOS I'm of digging their package manager apk. In my opinion it's way better than pacman / paru on my #ArchLinux setup. I'm not switching though as it would take a lot of convincing that I could daily drive #Alpine on my main. Never say never though as every day is a school day. 😜

Might have to upload my #OnePlus6T dots to my #Codeberg repo just so I can reinstall quickly should something go drastically wrong. They might help someone else too you never know.

Had a wee issue with broken / distorted audio on my #OnePlus6T with #PostmarketOS and #SXMO since installation. Found out that sxmo-common-audio-pipewire was the problem. Swapped it out for sxmo-common-audio-pulse and everything is working perfectly now.
I've also submitted an issue on pmos gitlab too.

Can't wait to get my #OnePlus6T with #PostmarketOS and #SXMO setup up just the way I want it. Then ilI'll be swapping my sim out of my #Fairphone4 and printing a PDF under Linux will be child's play. Patience Justine ! Patience 😉

OK #PostmarketOS community I'm obviously missing an apk or two as clicking on Firefox's accept button appears to do something but it never authorises Giara to login to my reddit account. I had the same issues with the GTK Mastodon client Tuba but it allowed me to login another way as the click to accept on Firefox won't work. #Help #OnePlus6T #AlpineLinux

I have to say that I'm really enjoying setting up my new #OnePlus6T with #PostmarketOS #SXMO .
I've not popped in my simcard as yet as I want to get the setup just right first. Have to say though it has lasted since midnight and all day so far without a charge and I have been tinkering quite a lot. #MobileLinux :tux:

Finally ! I have a fully working #OnePlus6T flashed with #PostmatketOS and #SXMO ! Happy days looks like I may be daily driving #MainlineLinux on my mobile. 😍

Haha I have my new #OnePlus6T and i'm currently installing #PostmarketOS onto it. Fingers crossed this does still have it's original touch screen and I'll soon be playing with #SXMO 🤞

The #GNOME Shell is making great progress as a #mobile interface. A new video from @cassidy demonstrates the latest developments using a #OnePlus6T running #PostmarketOS. The demonstration uses the regular GNOME Shell with many adjustments, not Purism's #Phosh. The quick settings feature introduced in version 43 of GNOME works particularly well on mobile devices and the gesture navigation is familiar and logical. Keep in mind, this is still in development:
