I’ve sleeved my #Onirim cards and put them in a deck box so I can now take them with me. It also makes them easier to shuffle. I don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner.

I only wish I had a deck box that didn’t say “Magic The Gathering” on it. It’s not worth buying a new one though.

Played another 3 #games of #Sylvion today. I have to say I really enjoy this game. First game my forest was totally ravaged by flames. Second game soo close to saving my forest. Third game forest totally saved and fully healthy phew. I do enjoy the time playing #BoardGames it's nice to not stare at a screen #SoloGamer #Oniverse

Had a fun afternoon of #BoardGames. First to the table and new to me was #Sylvion in the #Oniverse by #ShadiTorbey Really enjoyed playing this and it will hit the table again. I managed a win after I had got the gist of the game before the cards turned on me. I then got #ButtonshyGames #UglyGryphonInn to the table and managed a win. I do enjoy this one as well.

@gidorah @howrandom love the #Oniverse. This one takes a lot more play time to be able to win at a decent rate, if I remember correctly. It’s been a number of years. Familiarity with the cards and patterns takes time. And there’s not a lot of heuristics overlap with so many other games.

It’s that time again: Oniverse time! Today I played Sylvion. This game is split into an introductory mode and an advanced mode and includes 2 expansions.

Once I started reading the rules I knew why it had an introductory mode. I had to read the rules several times to get to learn this game. After getting to grips with the game it’s very good but based on my 2 introductory games it’s very hard to win. It’s actually not as crunchy as Aerion or Stellarion though.

To sum up my #Oniverse experience, there isn’t a bad game here. #Onirim and #Nautilion are pretty simple while #Aerion and #Stellarion are more complex and crunchy.

If I had to order the games from best to least favourite I’d put Aerion first, Stellarion a close second (will probably need expansions sooner), Onirim then Nautilion (again because it’ll need expansions sooner).

I enjoyed all 4 games and due to having different mechanics I’ll want to play them at different times.

I had to pop into town this morning and found some friends for Onirim!

I’ve had such a good time with Onirim that I couldn’t resist trying some of the other games in the Oniverse. I really couldn’t decide between them! Luckily for my bank balance 2 of the games weren’t there.

The last of my Christmas games arrived a couple days ago (although I do have some money left which I’ve put to one side for games later in the year). I’ve heard a few solo gamers say they consider an #Oniverse game as a staple of their collection. #Onirim seems to be universally well regarded so I’ve taken my first step into the Oniverse. Looking forward to playing it over the next week or so. #BoardGames
