With respect to #OnlineAbuse, I find the guidelines of #Glitch #UK quite helpful:

1. #Spot it, and don't dismiss it as being "normal".

2. #Support the person experiencing it, publicly. E.g., comment with a supportive meme.

3. #Report abuse - let the admins & mods know.

4. #Reply to the original post, and engage with it *as intended* by its author.

5. #Amplify the voice of the person experiencing the abuse - boost their post, instead of quoting the abuse.

"Interesting" how quite often the most important feature(s) in an app or operating system are buried somewhere and not advertised as they deserve.

Today it's "Communication Safety" in #Apple Messages that now includes tools that warn children and provide helpful resources if they receive or attempt to send photos that may contain nudity.

These instructions were published back in September... Never heard of it before today.
