It's a good thing I wanted Wegmans Italian Classics Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (Avg. 0.5lb) @ 12.10 /ea, and not Wegmans Italian Classics Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese (Avg. 0.5lb) @ 12.10 /ea

(I actually had an order once where the shopper replaced one with the other. I've still no idea what arcane difference exists under the hood.)

@timrichards
I tried to embrace online grocery shopping during covid lockdowns. I live on a rural property so still had to collect shopping in person at the pick up area but avoided the supermarket.

It was very unsatisfactory, tried 3 different supermarket chains, stuff was missing every time, pickup was absolutely woeful, disorganised & inefficient. Eventually just returned to doing it myself.

I tend to use the most convenient supermarket chain that is near other things I need access (inc my wonderful little Indian market which, though small, is packed with interesting, delicious ingredients & the workers there are friendly & helpful). I grow our veges & most of our fruit.

Coles, Woolies, IGA, Aldi are all awful in their own ways and price is not a big deal for me deciding which to use - they all cost too much & we are treated like shit.

I would love to avoid supermarket chains completely but seems I am doomed not to so I shop from a list monthly & avoid them like the plague otherwise.
