I think however, as a recovering #onlychild I'm uniquely positioned to empathize with the #DoomPiles situation. Very much "DONT TOUCH MY STUFF". I'm not tidy, or clean, but I know where everything is AT ALL TIMES. And when something gets moved or goes missing I CANNOT REST until I find it. Toss the house like the DEA looking for drugs. Like The Accountant, there will be agitation and anxiety.

LoL I didn't understand make up until I was in college living with other women. #onlychild #TomBoy My mom used make up, remember the Avon Ladies? But never taught me what to do. Off to the cricket tonight with my son. As a single mum, my son is my world and to be able to share things with him is magical. I don’t understand some of his interests, and he doesn’t understand some of mine, but sports is something we have in common, and have had since he was little. Now that he’s almost an adult, it’s even more special that we have at least this mutual interest.

I’m struggling a lot with feelings of #loneliness lately, but it’s been an ongoing issue for several years now. If it weren’t for my spouse and coworkers, I wouldn’t have anyone to talk to. Maybe it’s just what happens when you grow #older ? I’m still connected to #friends from my past on Facebook and other #socialmedia , but unless I reach out to them first, I never hear from anyone. Maybe the problem is me and I’m just not #interesting to them anymore? Forever an #OnlyChild it seems.

Why is grief from losing a parent SUCH a fucking rollercoaster. It’s been 2 years and it still hits me like a sledgehammer out of nowhere occasionally. It’s been haaaaaard today 😔
