@stephaniewalter being nostalgic of #onstar services tbh 😁 Even if it was so retrofuturistic 😄. At least it was working, mostly because it was #dumbtech and way before all those everything as a suscription service era.

Reminds me also that Ford is trying to charge you remote service to use your key fob remote to open doors instead of turning keys in the door.

And that, in UK, you have to pay 5£/month for electric mirror with ... I'm not sure if it's BMW or another "upper class brand"

Supremely annoyed with #Chevrolet as of late. Apparently you have to subscribe to #OnStar to use any of the app-driven capabilities OR see your service history. Meanwhile, #Ford gives me all that free on my truck via #FordPass.

One thing that makes me gunshy of going EV, it's just how connected an EV is and all the ways they can/do/will nickel-and-dime me after getting one. This is already showing its head in gassers.
