#Ontario Ford gov't just fucked around and found out and backed down. Head of every major union in Ontario / Canada, public & private were just all one one stage ready to take action. And the government blinked. Back to the bargaining table tomorrow and kids back in school.

Ford underestimated the unity of the labour movement in Ontario. Perhaps many of us did. This is a "fuck around and find out" kind of moment. Saying now they'll back down on Bill 28 if the workers go back to schools; but this smells to me like an attempt to undermine the solidarity that private sector unions have shown.
Blood in the water. Now is not the time to back down.
