I'm wondering if getting into gaming through White Wolf books might have made me overly predisposed to look for hidden connections in games. Like, right now I'm doing a read-through of Trinity Continuum: Anima (the new cyberpunk era). Looking at the Ghost Wolves faction (rebel hacktivists), there's a callout to Les Fantomes, the Modern era faction all about daring heists and stylish thieves stealing from the rich and powerful. Direct reference, all good.

We completed the first module of the #RiseOfTheRunelords campaign, Burnt Offerings, last night. The players are enjoying the #Pathfinder game. There's just enough difference from 3rd ed D&D that I'm still dealing with the learning curve, but everyone is having fun.

We'll be taking a 3-4 week break for various vacations and we'll take an equally long downtime break in the campaign.

That gives me time to finish preparations for my #VampireTheRequiem game.

Starting to read through the City of the Damned: New Orleans book for my #VampireTheRequiem chronicle. I really hope I can get that off the ground soon.

I've got so many players, I'm probably going to try and split them up into different sessions and let them filter back and forth. Otherwise, I'll have 7-8 players at a time, and that can be a bit much for some of my players.

Also, not developing the notion of Religion as a method of social control, thus, part of the Technocratic Union, looks to me like a terrible lost chance.

I'm headset on developing a NWO methodology or a fullfledged TU faction called Kyriarchy intended to represent social control through paternalistic values of tradition and "what's good and proper" moralism.

Mage the Ascension's system of Spheres looks nice, but it absolutely gets in the way of quick magical effect adjudication until you have a super-strong sense of how do spheres work.

I *want* to enjoy Mage, yet it's a terrible, fiddly mess.
