Day 3 #Unpub , I'm dressed and ready to goooo! It's gonna be rough to stop playtesting VelociRapture, a game that's intentionally nhilistic, silly, and fun, so that I can switch to #OpacityGame , a game that's designed to cascade into borderline unplayable and unfair states.
• Removed 🏷 and 🔊 constructs for now.
• There are now 64 cards, with doubles from 2 to 9.
• Several rules changed to focus on existing mechanics, occassionally introducing ✱ reference tokens to remind players of a change in a step or of an out of sequence rules event.
Version E3:
• Replaced coin mechanic with a 🏷 cost construct which uses the cards as "currency".
• Added a 🔊 network construct of shared cards you can access.
• Added a ⚠️ controversal construct which specifies the least popular shape.
• Made several new rules cards, including some for abolishing the game and ending the legacy campaign.
Version E:
• 12 cards of each shape, distributed from 2-9, with duplicates on the lower end.
• Card layout changed so the rules are meant to be read by holding the card upside down.
• Games are played over 3 rounds now, and win condition changed to be based on cards made representative of each round.
• ALL of the games rules are now on playable cards. 🏛 changes now replace segments of the game's foundation. Rules changes are now rather large.
