Just had a look at that taxonomy of #OpenScience referenced in this paper here:

While any taxonomy is subjective and arguably incomplete, I've already spotted several things that seem essential to #OpenScience and #OpenScholarship that seem to be missing:

- Open, Persistent Identifiers
- Open Standards (which cover more than protocols and interop, which is mentioned)
- Open APIs

...and would have expected #OpenSource to be more prominent

A revised and expanded #OpenScience taxonomy proposed by Silveira et al. The final taxonomy has 10 main-level facets and a total of 96 labels. A useful concept map to navigate the labyrinthine avenues of #OpenResearch

This primer on #qualitative #registeredreports is very brief (perhaps too brief! More please!) but is a good starting point for those new to qualitative approaches to registered reports (a publication type where you get the main peer-review before data collection).

It was a really timely read as tomorrow I’m writing up plans for a new qual RR!
