It’s my own fault. I knew what I needed to do but was too lazy to type it out. After several goes, ChatGPT declared that I had to use JS.

I spent the afternoon giving it increasingly detailed instructions while it gave me a mix of non-working code and “use JS”.

I wound up giving it the right code and saying “Look! This is how you do it! Without JS”

Laziness + stubbornness = three and half hours producing twenty minutes of CSS.
