Plan is to finally get to play around with things like #OpenEBS for replicated storage. #GarageHQ for S3. Dynamic #NFS provisioners. And all of the good stuff you need to run a distributed system outside of the comfort of something like #AWS, where these things are just solved for you already.
I'm not posting "days" anymore, my days aren't consecutive and I don't always have stuff to say.
I've managed to get my production #Kubernetes cluster running with #Longhorn after a period of struggles with #Openebs. I've also been working with my friend to build fresh #alpinelinux base images with #Jenkins and shipping them off to #harbor.

But I am thinking about using #Kubernetes for my Home stuff, as there I have 2 nodes. But then I need to finally find a Distributed Storage system that I like. #Longhorn has burnt me with the last #K3s upgrade to 1.25 and I also don‘t like how #GUI heavy it is. #Rook requires a dedicated disk, which I don‘t like that much (but maybe I could get used to that. Still need to give #OpenEBS a shot, maybe that fits me better.
But I would definetly keep a Docker install that time for easy testing.

Day 5: Seem to be perpetually having issues with my #kubernetes cluster. Using #OpenEBS for config and database storage and the volumes keep becoming corrupted. Anyone know a fix without buying 3-4 additional servers and begging for no power outages?
