Yep :D
The #openEngiadina project switched from #ActivityPub to #XMPP / #RDF.
From there it implements #ActivityStreams and intends to bridge back to the AP-based #Fediverse again.
And in this space we find #Libervia ..
Both projects are doing great research funded by @NGIZero
#openengiadina #activitypub #xmpp #rdf #activitystreams #fediverse #libervia
Something related to this is the great work that @pukkamustard has done with #openEngiadina which started with direct #ActivityPub based research projects and currently is on a #XMPP / #RDF stack.
See:
And #CPub, the last AP iteration:
https://codeberg.org/openEngiadina/cpub
Note that the new XMPP project implements the #ActivityStreams vocabulary.

@mcc interesting talk, thank you!
There's existing work on content addressing re:Fediverse worth mentioning.
The #openEngiadina project by @pukkamustard who wrote #ERIS implemented in #CPub:

Here is Encoding for Robust Immutable Storage: https://eris.codeberg.page/spec/
At one time this was part of DREAM at https://dream.public.cat (unsure of status of this research community)

@MaaikeV I know about #Humanitarian #OpenStreetMap, but not of ActivityPub / Fediverse apps that are directly usable in these situations.
#openEngiadina is working on local knowledge networks. They moved to #XMPP/RDF but still intend to bridge to #ActivityPub.
I could imagine that in earthquake sensitive regions you might organize such network to help in coordination and finding what to do to address specific needs.

@helge fwiw, I first of all gave it an upvote :)
Not specific to #RDFlib, but @pukkamustard I think described some of the issues with the specific #ActivityPub #JSONLD format, for the #openEngiadina project. This was in the context of making a switch to #XMPP/RDF.
I posted about it on #SocialHub at the time: https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/openengiadina-from-activitypub-to-xmpp/2106

Just hopping briefly on this thread to point out a research project that may interest you #openEngiadina at: https://openengiadina.net
Though the project moved away from AS/AP to #XMPP/#RDF (with intent to bridge to AP again) it is focused on regional areas.
There's an #Elixir prototype that still has the #ActivityPub implementation, before the switch to XMPP..
#openengiadina #xmpp #elixir #activitypub
@atomicpoet you may be interested to look at #openEngiadina by @pukkamustard which went the direction of #XMPP + #RDF and will adopt #ActivityPub as an RDF ontology and via a bridge. openEngiadina is a research project, and exploring many cool aspects for next-gen decentralized knowledge / social networks.
#openengiadina #xmpp #rdf #activitypub
@plexus you may find some of the explorations of #openEngiadina to be interesting.. the project switched to XMPP/RDF ..

Yes I have seen #openengiadina but it's not based on Solid yet, it has it's own server... But sure, I've looked at @pukkamustard work... and copied to build objects & activities 😊👍. For now that folder https://agora.solid.community/public/agora/inbox/ acts as a 'inbox of a public server' . But there is no public / private key on Solid. But a Fediverse serve could grad the data in it, or I could transform it in Json-ld if needed. Do you know someone that I could ping for that ?
