@SmartProSys I have never understood, why the participation at these events is restricted to affiliates of the corresponding research institutes. Science should be open to the public and the #ThirdSpace. We should do more #ScienceCommunication, not less. #ScienceOpen #Openess #SciCom

How to improve: actively seek out like-minded people and collaborate, get users on board early, write about what you do so others find you.

Connect and collaborate. Build trust - meet with each other, talk a lot, share your ideas, come up with plans & strategies, commit to them.

The most efficient way to move our fields quicker towards more #openess&transparency is a critical mass of people with similar values & understanding on #OpenScience

Alone it is so much harder to move things.

I love #LibreOffice as a developer because its #openess lets me do cool and hacky stuff, :blobcatcool: e.g. document manipulation for a ##NextCloud app (https://gitlab.com/schrieveslaach/nextcloud-open-document-forms, still work in progress).

I love @libreoffice as a user because it is powerful office suite.
