I have used #precice with #openfoam and #calculix in the past with an aim to use it for arterial flow simulation.
I now have a new PhD student starting in October. How far out is version 3? Looking to couple to Calculix or Solids4Foam.

@dlb sinon, vu que tu utilises Freecad,, y'a un super plugin pour la CFD (https://github.com/jaheyns/CfdOF), que j'avais testé avec succès il y a deux-trois ans. Il a dû faire beaucoup de progrès depuis. C'est basé sur #OpenFoam (qui est à installer par ailleurs). M'enfin, ça reste de la CFD, et c'est pas fait en trois coups de cuillères à pot.

The feature I miss the most from Twitter on Mastodon is quote tweets, explicitly of my own for the use case of related but divergent technical threads.
Working on the #GPGPU && #AVX512 accelerated build of #PETSc to enable faster execution of #OpenFOAM as of now and all the relevant threads would have to be independent threads and hard to cross reference as new threads/tangents pop up.

Last week, I was at the #Coupled2023 conference in Chania, Crete, Greece. It’s amazing to see what people can do when it comes to #CFD #particle coupling or fluid structure interactions (#FSI). Also quite interesting the sessions on #preCICE , #openfoam and #opensouce
