It's just a pointer to a useful site today. OpenGameArt has been around since at least 2009, a place where people can upload game assets they've created and make them available to developers, with a variety of licenses. Back in 2013 I used music from it for my own Gamemaker game Octropolis, properly credited of course.

Y por eso estoy contento de haber encontrado #opengameart.

He diseñado algunos elementos gráficos, como la hoja de sprites de Mo y su "moneda", una sardina, así como las cajas, porque quería que tuviese mi toque personal.

Pero si quiero que quede muy bien, voy a tener que utilizar otros recursos, como por ejemplo para los fondos, etc. Y para eso me viene genial ese proyecto.

Acabo de descubrir el proyecto #opengameart justo en un momento que me viene de perlas. Les cuento un poco, porque será útil para una idea que tuve hace tiempo:

Tried to have a little fun with some sprite interpretation. These four are some of the oldest assets on #opengameart , with Sara (blond girl in blue dress) being the site's mascot. From what I can tell they're a bit of a offbrand version of ff5's cast.

I noticed during drawing that they were firstly very 2000's designs. Secondly that the designs didn't make much sense in places. And that Sara is definitely the best of the designs.

I found two public domain collections with drawings of jungle plants. Actually I was looking for ideas how to decorate a village of people living in the jungle.
Anyhow these are really nice, and might be usefull to add to larger images as background additions.
