Yet another reminder that open source, even with #encryption, is not enough... we also need #decentralization, #federation, #opengovernance and a #funding model in alignment with all of these things.

I was wondering if there's something like @LaQuadrature , @Framasoft , or @aprilorg in Poland, despite the #consequentialism [1] popular among geeks in PL.

Having lost so much energy in trying to sort out administrative issues, I've proposed to the IT department + Rector of my university to create an internal university-wide #wiki. I fail to understand the reason for having f2f council meetings for decision-making when polite reasoned requests get piped to /dev/null and de facto decisions are made before the meeting. I'm assuming https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:AGF . #WPAGF Watch this space. :)
