Great story! Helpful insights into the attempt by cities to weaken requirements for disclosure of public records. It is unfortunate that they took this route. A better approach would be funding to help streamline methods of record handling so that public records can be accessed more easily by city staff. Several state agencies have done this. Meanwhile the leg just needs to get over itself and be transparent
