6/ If AI-generated summaries are not themselves copyrightable (which is the case today, at least in the US), then they cannot carry #OpenLicenses like CC-BY. But this is not a problem if they carry a #PublicDomain mark or dedication instead.

The #EU is funding a feasibility study for an #OpenAccess database of works that are in the #PublicDomain or carry #OpenLicenses.
