I've included 11 cities instead of 25. I was lazy. :blobmegasweats: . Interesting practice getting #openmeteo! It was funny. It shows: clear, rain, light rain, snow, light snow...

Update on the #M5Stack CoreInk E-ink display:

After 24 hours it is still running off its initial charge despite two web requests every minute (ntp time and weather).

Maybe displaying the time is viable after all once I do some optimisations (eg only check the weather once every hour).

Today I had some spare time to play with the #M5Stack CoreInk E-ink display and the #OpenMeteo weather API.

In addition to the weather forecast it is displaying the current time, although that might not be viable as far as power consumption goes.

We'll see if it's still running tomorrow...

Given the impending demise of the #DarkSky API I started looking for alternatives and had a play with #OpenMeteo, a nice and easy to use #OpenSource weather API.

In this test my #RaspberryPi Pico W updates its #Pimoroni Inky Pack every 10 minutes in #MicroPython.
