For what itās worth Iāve got 60,000 miles of being driven by #OpenPilot in a 2018 Honda Accord. Thatās engagement-free, no hands, no feet - most likely being an idiot on my phone level 2 self driving.
Tesla is probably better at several things but this is a $1200 device in an $18k (from before times when car prices were normal) car.
Even better in a Corolla or a Prius because they have more steering torque.
Keep the monkey jpgs and āAIā parlor tricks

The S class has always been the place you looked to see what tech and features the average car would have in a decade.

Forget #Qualcomm concept car in #ces2023 . The most interesting auto device with Qualcomm chipset is the #comma3 from @comma_ai
It has a #Snapdragon 845 and a bunch of cameras. It runs #openpilot - an open sourced self driving agent with an active community porting this to various car models (200+ now). You mount the device on the windshield and get #Autopilot like capabilities.

You donāt need a T*sla for #autopilot driving. I do it in a plain old Honda Accord with #Comma_AI and #OpenPilot. #OpenSource and insanely hackable - the future is #Open.
