Highlights include reverse debugging for ppc, SMT emulation (more than one CPU thread in a core), and accurate handling of invalid address access (machine check instead of silently continuing). Plus a heap of fixes for bugs that were found along the way.

I would love to make a switch. Good spec Talos costs as much as highend Mac.

ARM hat momentan sicher sehr viel Momentum, ich hoffe aber ehrlich gesagt auf offene #CPU Architekturen, allen voran #RISCV und auch #OpenPower.

Yes, both are closed-source hardware, I also do not like, but is now and in the near future the reality.
CPUs based on #RISCV or #OpenPOWER still need time, especially on the end-consumer market.
