The current crop of eBikes and electric motorcycles aren’t very interesting to me. I think that just about any one of them is likely to be a rolling brick in 5-10 years when the manufacturer isn’t around anymore, or not providing parts/service, or maintaining mobile apps or cloud services.

This is yet another area where #OpenSource can offer consumer confidence.

I liked what #OpenPPG is doing to open source a #paramotor.
