Well, spent the morning messing about in #OpenRocket, designing a scratch built #Rocket that is modular and capable of acting as a test bed for the flight computer. Fin can and body couplers will be 3d printed, allowing me to modify the performance of the rocket very easily in the field.
First test flight looking at 2xC11-5s to an altitude of ~230ft.
Deadline to have this built and ready to fly in the 28th of Jan... What could go wrong...
OpenRocket approves! Seems I guessed well with the tail fin size, and the rocket should be stable enough to keep pointy end up, flamey end down. According to the simulations a C6-3 motor is just about right, with C6-5 being usable too.

They're all designed from scratch using #FreeCAD and #OpenRocket, & printed on my #Prusa Mini+ in PETG. The onboard camera is a RunCam Split 3 Lite, and I've also put a logging altimeter in there using some #Adafruit parts and a few lines of #CircuitPython.
