It's awesome that every #Mastodon profile has a built-in #RSS feed, but I'd love to get an RSS feed for a whole instance -- i.e. the local timeline. Any hacks for that? I came across #OpenRSS but it doesn't seem to support most instances focused on #cybersecurity that I would like feeds for. Other ideas? Thanks!

#openrss explains:
An RSS feed is a timeline that shows updates from things you want to follow -- similar to a social media feed you'd use on Twitter or Facebook. Only, instead of the updates on your feed being limited to Twitter or Facebook, you can see updates from any website on the internet. […] https://openrss.org/rss-feeds
If you've wanted RSS of a Mastodon user *including* boosts, or a small instance's local feed, there's a third-party service for that. Take the url you want, and write "openrss.org/" before the domain. You'll get the last 25 toots.

Uncommon requests may initially yield "No feed here", in which case it'll be put on their todo list.
New to me feature, of getting #RSS feeds of "local" Mastodon server timelines.
For the #ToolsForThoughtRocks server, it's this #OpenRSS link https://openrss.org/toolsforthought.rocks/public/local
@chrisaldrich has a blog post with the full details https://boffosocko.com/2023/01/10/full-rss-feeds-for-mastodon-instances-with-openrss/

Mastodon offers #RSS feeds, which is great if you're an oldschool hack like me who collects RSS feeds for every site he wants to read and if a site doesn't have them, he'll gosh darn build them himself! Here's how to get to them (Source: https://www.reddit.com/r/rss/comments/yyw0h0/every_mastodon_account_has_an_rss_feed_just_add/)
Account: instan.ce/@account.rss
Hashtags: instan.ce/tags/hashtag.rss
For timelines, you can use #OpenRSS:
Explore: openrss.org/instan.ce/explore
Local: openrss.org/instan.ce/public/local
Federated: openrss.org/instan.ce/public
