#OpenSauce was awesome! I got to see awesome creators like @TechConnectify , Electroboom, Thought Emporium, Applied Science, Zack Freedman, and Adam Savage! Along with many others at booths with great projects like Shrimp Fried Rice!

I set up the Hydrocrystallophone for day 2 of #OpenSauce. It's a bit loud in here, but apparently it's reasonably audible to those with younger ears.

The cable cars are glorious and ridiculous and they are definitely my favorite form of transportation ever. I'm so glad this one system remains to prove such a transparently asinine idea can actually be made to work, because I'm not sure I would completely believe the historical record otherwise. That pause as they let go of the cable and coast when going over road grade changes so they don't hit the pulley? The smell of burning wood and oil? The complete disregard for basic passenger safety? Glorious. Transcendent. Absolutely perfect.

(Yes, I chose my hotel to make sure I'd have a cable car commute to the #OpenSauce event space. Of course I did.)

So, I want to take a modular system to #OpenSauce to show off my "Node" state machine/Markov chain sequencer modules. Do I try to fit it all in the little orange case, or do I use the (much cooler and homemade) big metal case? I want to provide enough modules, mostly percussion oriented, so people can actually have some fun with it. But not so many unrelated modules that it gets any more confusing than it needs to be, at which point the big case will be more gap than module...
