I sometimes feel like some people isolate the (user-facing) #opensoure world by being religiously foss-only. saying stuff like use only flully Free distros, never use proprietary apps, never use anything connected to AI, don't use products by a company, open-core is openwashing, #floss project shouldn't be made a business, delete all mainstream social media etc.
We need to accept that people just wanna use the thing that's the easiest to use and they rarely care about its community.

Damals als #Kind in den späten #80ern war ich begeistert von #KITT aus der Serie #KnightRider.

Jetzt in den 20ern des 21. Jahrhunderts, kann ich mit Smart Watch und #OpenSoure auf dem #RaspberryPI4 doch so einiges regeln, so dass ich mein #Fahrrad-K.I.T.T. zusammenbauen kann.

@Oetscherboy Technische Probleme könnten durchaus auftreten, wenn das mit der Dokumentation und den gegangenen Programmieren stimmt.

Alles in allem werden vermutlich einige, hier bleiben. Insbesondere die, die nicht mehr bereit sind, als "Datenpool" zu dienen, oder von "gekauften Bevorzugungen" manipuliert zu werden.

#opensoure und #openstandards sollte die Zukunft überall sein. Die bequeme Masse wird sich allerdings schwer überzeugen lassen.

#gamedev #gamedeveloper I did not work on the game for a long time since I did become a father. But I still want to upload this video from March 2021.

It's based on the #monogame framework and the plan is to make it #opensoure once it's in a more playable state. I did try to adapt the entity component system for the project, still learning how to use it correctly.

All the graphics and the sound is done by me or was adapted by me from a previous version of the game I worked on with a friend of mine.
