I like @elementary and think their work is important, but I‘m at the point I don‘t want to contribute to projects that are not part of #Debian, or maybe even #openSuSE or #Fedora. @debian @opensuse @fedora

Why? If you want to start a project and be fast, you may go alone. But if you want to go far at some point you need to become part of a bigger community.

It's been a week since reinstalling
@opensuse #openSUSE #Leap on my #ThinkPad with a Seventh Gen #Intel i7 Pro. While it crawled with both #Windows #Windows11 and #Windows10, there has been NO lag at all after installing #Linux. I just tried running @whonix on it while plugged into a #Thunderbolt dock hooked up to an ultrawide monitor, and it was as snappy as ever.

Windows #OperatingSystem bloat is real, and if you've got old hardware, the speed issues are probably due to your #OS.

Also jetzt reichts für heute:
#xampp als lokale Entwicklungsumgebung lässt sich zwar installieren, funktioniert dann aber nicht.
Eine Virtual-Box mit #openSUSE lässt sich installieren, aber stürzt dann einfach ab und ist kaputt.
Wenn ich beides nicht schon 100 mal gemacht hätte, könnte man meinen, das geht nicht.
Das hat aber beides in den letzten 10 Jahren gut funktioniert...🤬
