The #OpenUK #StateOfOpen report is being discussed at the meetup this evening. Some impressive reported (but possibly, lower than actual?) numbers about the impact of Open Source software in the UK economy.

It’s so great when my schedule can line up something nice! I’m in London for #LaravelLiveUK (day 1 was so good, day 2 tomorrow), and that meant I made it to the #OpenUK Meetup to see more of my people and share in some great talks and discussions! Thanks @openuk and all the crowd, I’m so grateful to have made it tonight :)

One of the interesting things to me about having become part of the #OpenUK community in the past 6-7 months is that I’m still learning about #OpenSource (always learning!), after 20 years in the space. Some really great perspectives at the meet-up in London this evening.

So far this evening at #OpenUK #OUKmeetup I’ve met friends (and made new ones); modelled community values with clay; and listened to an excellent talk about Imposter Syndrome
