I have #OpenWebRX nodes at home on the #AREDN mesh network. I saw a very interesting video from Ham Radio Dude on YouTube showing how he used a remote SDR to diagnose a noise issue as being widespread vs a local issue. I was impressed.

38 followers · 96 posts · Server mastodon.radioSpent a chunk of this morning chasing down the discovery that some internet #SDR nodes can decode digital directly in the browser, beyond the typical set that most nodes do.
All of the turquoise nodes on https://rx-tx.info/map-sdr-points are running #OpenWebRX, which is capable of tons of modes compared to #WebSDR and #KiwiSDR. (AFAICT; the UI for these hides many things...)
There aren't any OpenWebRX nodes in the PNW, which is giving me yet another project idea...
