One final call for any and to help me identify this bone, picked up from the banks of the River Elbe, among vast amounts of war rubble. After the war, much of what was left of Hamburg got dumped to strengthen the riverbanks, and in some places, one can walk among broken bricks, shards of china, plates, tiles and other ceramics, as well as molten glass - result of the terrible firestorm of 1943.

Here goes nothing, hope I’ll have better luck here. Is there anyone among the here that could help me identify this bone? Found among war rubble. You see, after the war, much of what was left of was scraped up and dumped on the banks of the River Elbe in order to strengthen them. You can still find a lot of ceramic shards, pieces of tiles, as well as molten glass - the result of the terrible Firestorm. But those are a subject of a future photo series.
